Tammy’s idea for MyBudget was conceived from the simple but audacious idea of eliminating financial stress in the community. She started meeting with clients at her kitchen table and showed them how to create a budget and manage their cash flow. For some of her clients, it was the first time in their life that their bills were paid on time.

Only after naysayers suggested MyBudget would fail in a space traditionally dominated by men with greying temples and pinstripe suits did she realise that her gender and youth was an advantage.

Tammy is now recognised nationally as a personal budgeting guru and one of Australia’s top businesswomen, entering the BRW Young Rich List in 2014.
